President Benigno S. Aquino III warmly greeted the organizers of the Philippine Investment Forum, namely the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), ASEAN Japan Center (AJC) and the Philippine Society of Japan, at Hotel New Otani on the third day of his State Visit.

Before attending the Philippine Investment Forum program proper, President Aquino met with the organizers who made the event possible. He expressed his appreciation for the group’s role in promoting the Philippines as an investment destination.

Receiving the President were Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige (Chairman and CEO of JETRO), Mr. Toshiyuki Shiga (Chairman, Japan-Philippines Economic Cooperation Committee-JCCI), Teruo Asada (Chairman, Philippine Society of Japan), and Mr. Dananjaya Axioma (Acting Secretary General, AJC).
