The Canadian Red Cross Society is part of the largest humanitarian network in the world. Its network includes the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Having millions of volunteers from 187 member national societies, this organization has provided immeasurable relief efforts in Ormoc City.

In coordination with the Philippine Red Cross and local government units, this organization has installed tents fronting the city general hospital to cater residents in dire need of medical aid.
