Congresswoman Leni Robredo (3rd District, Camarines Sur), wife of the late Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo, launched the “Matino at Mahusay: Best Practices of Jesse Robredo” booklet at the Club Filipino, San Juan City.

The booklet highlights all major projects and programs that the late Sectary initiated during his mayoral stint, spanning 18 years, in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Calling it Jesse Robredo’s legacy on good governance, the booklet depicts governance innovations drawn from Jesse’s leadership style in manning Naga City. It also offers a glimpse on the challenges he faced and overcame as a public servant.

Harvey Keh of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation (JMRF) said they are planning to include the book in the college curriculum to perpetuate the legacy of genuine public service and good governance to the youth, and especially to empower the local communities.

The booklet was published in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom led by Director Jules Maaten and members of the Naga City local government led by Naga City Mayor John Bongat and Councilor Gabby Bordado.
