President Rodrigo Roa Duterte graced the launching of Aviana Development Corporation’s newest project, the Azuela Cove, in Lanang, Davao City.
The said project is a 25-hectare waterside development borne out of the joint venture partnership between the Ayala Land and the Alcantara Group of Companies.
The Azuela Cove offers a well-balanced mix of waterside retail, business and residential spaces, complemented by social institutions such as the St. Luke’s Medical Center that is set to operate on 2022. The estate is designed around central open spaces leading to and highlighting the Davao Gulf.
In his message, President Duterte assured the business sector that the country remains strong for business opportunities. “I assure our private partners, that the government has taken measures to ensure that you can do business with ease. We intend to establish an environment that is more conducive for new investments to prosper and for existing businesses to expand and grow. It is my hope that this event will strengthen our collective resolve to provide a more comfortable and productive life for every Filipino. May this collaboration open more opportunities and bring about prosperity and progress in Mindanao for the future generations,” he said.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella, and executives from the Ayala Land and Alcantara Group of Companies also attended the event.
