Langkawi, Malaysia

Tourists seeking adventure in Malaysia should consider riding the Langkawi Cable Car as top of its priority list on things-to-do when visiting the Langkawi Island.

Reaching 708 meters high from the take-off station, it is Malaysia’s second highest cable car ride which will take you to Langkawi’s second highest peak, the summit of Mt. Cincang. The height may not be that impressive but the climb is surely one of the most heart-stopping, adrenaline pumping, stomach-quenching rides as it is renowned to have the steepest incline in the world. But the climb is definitely worth it when you see the breathtaking view of the Andaman Sea and the scattered islets of Langkawi Island.

Upon reaching the top, there will be two get-off platforms that offer a spectacular view of the island. And if you are brave enough, you can trail down the flight of stairs going to the Sky Bridge, a curved suspension bridge, which is an engineering marvel of its own.
