Lake Shore Drive is a 15-plus miles stretch of an urban parkway in Chicago. It is also a gateway to a number of marinas in the city such as Belmont Harbor, one of the largest in Chicago.
Standing on Lake Shore side, one can get a beautiful panoramic view of Chicago including that of Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) which remains to be the tallest building in North America at 1,451 feet tall with 110 floors. It is a famous destination for tourists with several restaurants, retail shops, health spa and SkyDeck on the 103rd floor featuring interactive, museum-quality exhibits on Chicago’s history.
