President Rodrigo Roa Duterte discusses the government’s ongoing efforts in addressing the current Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the Philippines in a meeting with several Cabinet Members.

The President also raises anew the concerns over the proliferation of illegal drugs wherein he stresses the importance of the integration of family values in keeping the youth from using these harmful substances. He urges the public to actively participate in holding government officials accountable for graft, corruption, misconduct and delays in the delivery of public service.

Likewise, the Chief Executive highlights the recovery efforts in the rehabilitation of Least Affected Areas and Most Affected Areas in Marawi City. He reassures the people that the government stays committed in the reconstruction of public infrastructure and the City’s full recovery.

President Duterte encourages his fellow Filipinos to follow health guidelines in communities and workplaces as economic activities continue to slowly open-up in the country amidst the pandemic.
