Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
April 8, 2017

Completed in 2002, the Kingdom Centre is the tallest skyscraper in Saudi Arabia, with a height of 302 meters (992 feet).

It has been called “the necklace” of the city due to its unusual apex, which features a circular-shaped opening.

The Kingdom Centre also houses the world’s tallest mosque, on the 77th floor, as well as a special ladies-only shopping area on the second floor called “The Ladies Kingdom.”

The center also has the SkyBridge, a steel structure weighting about 300 tons sitting on top of the tower and overlooking the whole of Riyadh. Given its vantage point, it is one of the most important attractions for tourism in Riyadh.
