At the launching of the special Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) outlet called ‘KNP Para sa Manggagawa’ in Quezon City, President Marcos Jr. emphasized the valuable efforts and contributions of Filipino workers and laborers to the nation’s economic growth and recovery amidst inflation challenges.

With more than 500 outlets across the country, the Chief Executive vowed to continue implementing programs that promote inclusivity and the well-being of all Filipinos. He encouraged all concerned government agencies and local government units (LGUs) to work together to successfully accomplish these initiatives.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Para sa Manggagawa gathered around 33 sellers from the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and sellers brought in by the Quezon City local government.

Likewise, the DOLE provided wages for participating sellers under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
