“Pararamihin pa natin ito para kahit sa malalayo, sa mga lupalop ay makaaabot ang Kadiwa dahil lahat naman tayo dito sa Pilipinas ay nangangailangan ng tulong,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed as more ‘Kadiwa ng Pangulo’ (KNP) stores continue to operate across the country.
As he led the opening of another Kadiwa outlet in Limay, Bataan, the President vowed to exert all efforts in improving the agriculture and fisheries sector, especially the continuous production of food commodities and supplies.
“Dahan-dahan namin inaayos ang agricultural sector dahil napakalawak nito, dahan-dahan ay nagiging mas maganda naman ang ating tinatawag na value chain para sa ating mga magsasaka. Kaya’t ang dulo niyan ay itong Kadiwa,” he said.
He urged all concerned government agencies, particularly the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), to ensure that all Kadiwa stores continue to serve its purpose of providing affordable and quality products for the Filipino people amidst the effects of global inflation.
Since it was officially launched last February, the Kadiwa outlets have been able to generate total sales of PhP3.66 million.
