Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City
25 November 2013

President Benigno S. Aquino III expressed his confidence that the Philippine military will have stronger forces as the newly-graduated 140 young officers enter the service today.

As he graced the Joint Graduation Ceremony of the Major Services Pre-Entry Officers’ Courses held at Camp Emilio Aguinaldo, the President said that even at this early stage, he is already grateful for the new members of the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force’s vigilance and preparedness to serve their flag and countrymen. This only shows, he added, that these young soldiers are ready to sacrifice their personal interests for the benefit of the country and Filipino people.

Paglingkuran natin sila nang may dangal, prinsipyo at pananagutan,” said the President.

During the ceremonies, President Aquino led the distribution of diplomas and presentation of awards together with National Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin and Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Emmanuel Bautista.
