President Rodrigo Roa Duterte convened several Cabinet members and top military and police officers to discuss possible scenarios that could affect the country should the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict continue and escalate to include other allied nations in a Joint Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) – Philippine National Police (PNP) Command Conference at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace.

The discussions included security and defense plans; economic, trade and human resource implications of the Russia-Ukraine conflict; and, mitigating measures and contingency plans and programs to be installed to alleviate the effects of a prolonged Russia-Ukraine conflict to the Philippines.
