With a total land area of 30,000 square meters, the Islamic Arts Museum is home to more than 7,000 artifacts and a library with exceptional volumes of Islamic art.
Among its astonishing displays are art objects from minuscule pieces of jewelry to one of the world’s biggest scale models of Mecca’s Masjid al-Haram. The goal is to make a collection that truly reflects the world of Islam.
People’s curiosity in the Islamic arts grew rapidly throughout the years. In December 1998, Malaysia has become the home of the largest museum of Islamic Arts in the entire Southeast Asia.
