Ambassador Noel Servigon is the current Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam. He assumed his post as Chief of Mission in the Embassy of the Philippines located in the capital city of Hanoi on March 8, 2016.
The Ambassador tackled the highlights of President Duterte’s first visit to Vietnam last September 2016, and how this resulted to the further strengthening of bilateral relations particularly in trade, investments, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, between the two countries.
He also expressed the Embassy’s preparations and anticipation on the visit of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to participate in the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM).
Prior to his posting in Vietnam, Ambassador Servigon was the Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Management at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila. He also served as Consul General in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and in Manado, Indonesia.
