H.E. Joseph Del Mar Yap, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore, started his tour of duty as a Special Envoy from December 2016 to June 2017 before being appointed as Ambassador.

Prior to his appointment, he served in the private sector as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of various companies under the Filinvest Development Corporation.
