Has worked as School Administrator and lecturer in the Philippines for 14 years. In New Zealand, she has worked as a School Directress/Teacher at North Shore Montessori Primary School. She also served as an Administration Manager of Oxford International Academy and lecturer at Te Wananga o Aotearoa.
In 2009, she co-founded NZ-PHIL SCOT Charitable Trust together with Mike De Boer from the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Since then, she’s serving the trust voluntarily by organizing fund raising events for the benefit of street kids in the Philippines as well as migrants’ children in Auckland. She is managing the trust programs for scholarships, feeding program and community outreach in the Philippines. The trust is assisting children in various places in Bulacan including Meycauayan, Sta. Maria and San Miguel. They also have outreach programs in Antipolo and Batangas. Recently, she and the other volunteers of the trust have conducted the Breakfast Club (feeding program) at a public school in Marilao, Bulacan.
In 2011, she was awarded a Local Hero medal by Kiwi Bank, the organizers of the New Zealander of the year. NZ-PHIL SCOT charitable trust was also given a certificate for being nominated as a Community of the Year 2012.
