Mr. Ferdinand Viola works as a project financial controller in Pacific Drilling, an international company with its main headquarters in Houston, Texas, USA that is engaged in ultra deep water oil drilling.

Mr. Viola organized the first Filipino community in Geoje City and was its first president. The group is active in extending financial assistance and counselling services for Filipino-Korean spouses and other distressed Filipinos. The Filipino community in Geoje also sends assistance to victims of disasters and calamities in the Philippines.
