Who would have thought that the voice behind the famous tourism advertisement of Malaysia is Jazsmine, an award-winning Filipina performing artist?

Maria Jazsmine Amon or simply Jazsmine is the first and original singer of “Malaysia, Truly Asia” tourism ad campaign which was used during the Visit Malaysia year in 2007. Due to her appealing and serene vocals, the commercial captured the world’s attention and became the pioneer of one-liner tags for national tourism campaigns.

Even with her success and fame, Jazsmine keeps her feet on the ground and never forgets helping her kababayans back in the Philippines. She uses her talent in the performing arts to support her advocacy in helping the youth and underprivileged. Just recently, she successfully gathered her co-performing artists to raise funds and help the victims of super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).
