Ms. Josefina Macaraig, or Tita Josie as she is fondly called, is the honorary president of the Danang Filipino Community (DFC) in Da Nang City, Vietnam. She has been residing in the country for more than a decade and is working for an international shoe company in a managerial position.

She narrates the excitement and anticipation that she shares with her fellow kababayans upon learning that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will be visiting Da Nang to attend the 25^th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting. Despite the President’s full schedule in the APEC, Tita Josie is fervently wishing, alongside the Filipinos in Da Nang, for a possible meet and greet with the beloved Philippine leader who they fully supported in the 2016 national elections.
