“As these investments come in, there will be more opportunities for more of our people who are starting up, who are struggling, and very clear the objective here is an inclusive Philippine economy,” shares Go Negosyo Founder Jose Ma. ‘Joey’ Concepcion III as the government and private sector secured around US$700,000 from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to scale up the Filipino micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which he says is a factor towards robust economic growth.

Mr. Concepcion, as the Lead for Jobs of the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), thanked the Marcos Administration for its efforts in meeting with Japanese investors and maintaining good partnership with the private sector that he considers the ‘engine of business in the country.’
