Mr. Elbert Bryan Roceta Vidal, a lecturer at The University of Danang, is the acting president of the Danang Filipino Community (DFC) in Da Nang City, Vietnam. He has been living in the city for several years with his wife and two daughters.
Like the rest of the Filipinos staying in this part of Vietnam, Bryan is equally looking forward to the visit of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to participate in the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting. He shares his admiration for the Philippine leader’s transparency and political will to institute genuine change and reforms in the country.
Furthermore, Mr. Vidal discusses the profile of Filipinos working in the third largest city in Vietnam and how the Danang Filipino Community (DFC) provides assistance to those kababayans in need.
