Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Alfredo Pascual reaffirms the commitment of the Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in transforming the Philippines as an export-oriented and industrial-driven economy towards a more industry-led development as the President engages in a meeting with Japanese manufacturing companies in Tokyo, Japan on February 9, 2023.

In an interview, Secretary Pascual shares that eleven (11) Japanese companies, mostly involved in semi-conductor, electronics and wiring harnesses, expressed commitment to further their investments and expansions in the Philippines, saying the country remains one of their important locations for business.
