Department of Energy (DOE) Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella talks about the support of Japanese private companies to the Marcos Administration’s agenda for energy security in the Philippines, with the Japan’s Energy for a New Era (JERA) investing a total of US$1.5 billion for the advancement of the country’s renewable energy sources like solar and wind.

He also emphasizes the need to strengthen and invest in the country’s indigenous resources such as geothermal and hydrothermal energy, in order for the nation to not be affected by the changing prices in the global market.
