Charge D’Affaires of the Philippine Embassy

Consul Imelda Panolong was designated as the country’s Charge D’Affaires in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 25, 2017.

Prior to her designation as Charge D’Affaires, Consul Panolong became Deputy Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, Minister and Consul General of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, and Deputy Consul General at the Philippine Consulate in Toronto.

She also served as First Secretary and Consul at the Philippine Embassy in Manama, and became a Consul at the Philippine consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Consul Panolong completed her Bachelor of Arts degree Major in Political Science from University of the Philippines. She is married to Jim Panolong and blessed with three children.
