“Patuloy tayong nakikipag-ugnayan sa iba’t ibang lokal na pamahalaan at mga ahensya ng gobyerno sa buong bansa… Ito ay upang matiyak natin ang pagpapalawig ng 4PH para mas maraming Pilipino ang maabot at makikinabang dito,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. affirmed as he vowed to continue strengthening the Administration’s efforts to eradicate the country’s 6.5 million housing backlog.
The President made these remarks during his inspection of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Project in San Fernando City, Pampanga where he lauded the construction of 27 buildings comprising more than 8,000 housing units that can accommodate around 10,000 Filipino families.
“Isa po itong patunay na masusing pinagplanuhan ang programang ito dahil hindi lamang mga bahay ang itatayo, kundi ang pangkalahatang komunidad,” he said.
As one of his Administration’s priority programs, the Chief Executive reassured the nation of government’s strong commitment in ensuring Filipinos will get decent and affordable shelter, urging the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) for the smooth implementation of housing projects across the country.
He also expressed gratitude towards the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) and the private sector for its continued partnership with the government in making this endeavor a success.
“Marami na po tayong groundbreaking ceremonies na nasimulan. Ang site inspection na ito ay parte lamang ng proseso natin upang maitayo ang mga Pambansang Pabahay Para sa mga Pilipino,” President Marcos Jr. conveyed.
