President Benigno S. Aquino III led the inspection of the bunk houses for the victims of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that shook the province of Bohol in mid-October last year.
Coinciding with the 28th EDSA People Power anniversary, President Aquino showed the true meaning of the celebration by bringing the spirit of people power to the residents through bayanihan.
He also visited families temporarily seeking shelter in bunk houses built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Composed of 20 units per bunk house, with 10 rooms divided side by side, each bunk house is allotted with eight comfort rooms, four shower areas, four washing areas and 20 cooking partitions.
