President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the inauguration of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) at the Oakridge Cebu Business Park in Mandaue City.

The OPAV is headed by Undersecretary Terence Calatrava who took his oath of office before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin in December last year. He is tasked to liaise and represent the President in three regions within the Visayas (Regions 6, 7 and 8) and coordinate with different government agencies to ensure the delivery of services to the local government units (LGUs) and their respective constituents.

Following the activity, President Marcos Jr. held a meet and greet with several parallel group leaders composed of representatives from the Business ng Bayan Movement, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, BBM-Sara Uniteam and other invited guests.
