President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited the children cancer patients under the care of the House of Hope in Davao City.

Resident doctors recalled that even during his mayoral stint, the President always paid a visit to the center every Christmas and gave gifts to the patients and survivors. Before the President arrived, a child patient expressed her excitement upon learning that President Duterte is paying her a visit this Christmas.

House of Hope is a project of the Rotary Club of Waling-Waling Davao and the Davao Children’s Cancer Fund Inc. The center has a significant impact in improving the survival of children with cancer and has contributed in revolutionizing the care and treatment of child cancer in Mindanao.
