Located between the districts of Shibuya and Shinjuku, Harajuku is known as the home of kawaii since it is considered as Japan’s center of cosplay culture and teenage fashion style. It is a vibrant area crammed with various fashion boutiques, shops, crepe stalls, fast food stores, and a bustling crowd of people especially in the part of Takeshita Street. This street is packed with fashion stores offering various kinds of style from punk and gothic to colorful and bright accessories.
Aside from the Takeshita-dori Street and its teenage culture, Harajuku also offers some historic spots such as the Meiji Shrine and stores for adults.
