Named by scholar Choi Chi-Won of the Kingdom of Silla, Haeundae Beach is considered as the most famous beach in Korea. It is known as a venue for famous cultural events and festivals being held in the country every year. One of the attractions here is the Folk Square where tourists and locals can enjoy traditional games like seesaw jumping, Korean wrestling, arrow throwing and tug-of-war. Tourists usually go here during the months of June to August.
