“Mahalagang makipagtulungan sa iba pang mga ahensya ng gobyerno at pribadong sektor upang maisakatuparan ang ating mga kolektibong hangarin,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized as he urged the National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) to continue fulfilling their respective mandate of providing quality and affordable homes to every Filipino family under the Administration’s ‘Build Better More’ Housing Program.
The President made these remarks during his attendance to the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Valenzuela City where he underscored the importance of continuous partnership between the national government and local government unit (LGU).
President Marcos Jr. encouraged all the concerned government agencies and private sector to ensure that these housing units will be well maintained and at the same time, provide opportunities for its beneficiaries in order to start a new life.
Situated in a total area of 20,709 square meters, the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato will cover the construction of 20 five-storey medium rise buildings or an equivalent of 1,200 housing units which will benefit the city’s informal settler families (ISF).
Likewise, the Chief Executive vowed to come up with more housing projects for the realization of his promise to construct more homes for Filipinos in the next six years.
