One of the most popular sites in China is the Badaling Section of the Great Wall, which was used by Beijing to defend themselves against the intrusion of Northern Mongolians.

The Badaling Section is the most visited and has drawn millions of tourists, both locally and from abroad, because it is the best-preserved and most complete section of the Great Wall. It is also listed among UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage and has attracted many world leaders and celebrities like Queen Elizabeth II, former South African President Nelson Mandela and US Presidents Barack Obama, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush.
