President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received His Excellency Munther Mahfoodh Salem Al Mantheri, Ambassador of Oman to the Philippines, in a farewell call at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Oman spans more than four (4) decades of strong ties, which started on October 6, 1980.

Over the years, the two nations have developed a progressive partnership in various areas of mutual cooperation including political, economic, maritime, trade and investments, culture and labor.
