President Rodrigo Roa Duterte conferred the Order of Sikatuna with the Rank of Datu (Grand Cross) in Gold Distinction to Her Excellency Kok Li Peng, outgoing Ambassador of Singapore to the Philippines, in a farewell call held at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

The honor is given to the Ambassador for her contributions in further strengthening the relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Republic of Singapore.

Among her most notable efforts included the facilitation of Singapore’s humanitarian assistance in Marawi City, her dedicated support in broadening Philippines-Singapore defense cooperation by organizing defense policy dialogues and training opportunities for Filipino soldiers, and other initiatives that brought greater friendship, understanding, and mutual respect between the Filipinos and Singaporeans.
