President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administered the conferment of the Order of Sikatuna with the Rank of Grand Cross (Datu), Silver Distinction, to H.E. Dato’ Raszlan Abdul Rashid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Philippines, in a farewell call at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

Deputy Chief of Mission Rizany Irwan Muhamad, Defense Attaché Colonel Saharudin Harun, Royal Malaysian Police Attaché Superintendent Osri Sarikol, and Trade Commissioner Siti Azlina Mohd Ali Hanafiah accompanied the outgoing Ambassador. He assumed his post as the Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines in 2016.

Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, and Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Ernesto Abella joined the President in the event.
