Bandar Seri Begawan

The Philippine Consulate-General was first established in Bandar Seri Begawan on August 1983 under the leadership of Consul-General Tristan V. Enverga.
Upon the declaration of Brunei Darussalam’s independence in January 1, 1984, the Philippines established full diplomatic ties with the Sultanate, elevating the Philippine Consulate-General to the Philippine Embassy in Negara Brunei Darussalam. The first Philippine Ambassador to the Sultanate was Ambassador Benjamin B. Domingo.
