Presidential Legal Counsel Atty. Salvador Panelo graced an art exhibit done by handicapped artists currently on display at the Kalayaan Hall in Malacañang. The exhibit was organized by the Earth Savers’ Movement, Inc.

In brief remarks, Atty. Panelo lauded the Earth Savers’, a non-profit, non-government Civil Society Organization (CSO) for promoting music and the arts accomplished by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). He particularly commended the group that sang a Freddie Aguilar song.

The Secretary added that he learned of the struggles and challenges being faced by the PWDs, emphasizing that this sector, including special children, are very dear to his heart because one of his children is also a special child. Thus, he will be drafting an Executive Order aimed to address their needs and promote their rights in the country.
