Da Nang City, Vietnam
November 5, 2017

At 666 meters long, 37.5 meters wide, and with six lanes for vehicles, the Dragon Bridge was “designed and built in the shape of a dragon over the Han River” in Da Nang City, Vietnam. It was opened on March 29, 2013 during the 38th anniversary of the city’s liberation.

Every weekends and holidays at 9:00 in the evening, the Dragon Bridge puts on a show, with the ‘dragon breathing in fire’ for two minutes, then ‘breathing in water’ for another three minutes before spraying out the water in a powerful blast afterwards. The fire and water performance of the Dragon Bridge reflects the aspirations of Da Nang City.
