President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met the people of Northern Samar when he led the distribution of various government assistance in the Province, apart from inspecting the Kadiwa ng Pangulo and job fair, in a program at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Catarman.

The President turned over various assistance from the Department of Agriculture (DA) for its association beneficiaries including units of wheel drive tractors, multi-cultivators, Pump Irrigation System from Open Source (PISOS) and cacao processing facility; the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) for its fisherfolk association beneficiaries with modules of high density polyethylene (HDPE) cage and units of fiberglass boats; the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for its Bread 1 and Pastry Production National Certification (NC) II beneficiaries with starter tool kits; and the provincial government of Northern Samar for its farmers association beneficiaries with units of hand tractors, rice threshers and rice cutters.

Thereafter, he checked on the booths at the Kadiwa ng Pangulo installed by an estimated number of 39 sellers composed of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Exhibitors for the Diskwento Caravan, farmers associations, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPA) and local government exhibitors. He also inspected the job fair with over 22 companies offering work opportunities.

Following these activities, President Marcos Jr. handed over another government assistance benefitting more than 2,500 beneficiaries from the DA, BFAR, Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA), DSWD, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), TESDA, DTI and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
