President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the ceremonial distribution of the Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) to the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Region 10 in a ceremony held in Cagayan de Oro City.

“It’s fertile and for the Davao region… Slopes gud na sa Mt. Apo actually. And dili kinahanglan og abuno ang yuta didto because it is supplied by nature. Sa ubang lugar, you need fertilizers and everything to make the plants grow faster and more… Og ingnon pa in ratio and proportion, mas dagko,” he said.

President Duterte also encouraged the promotion of peace in Mindanao’s rural areas to alleviate poverty incidence and help boost productivity in these agricultural lands.
