President Benigno S. Aquino III left the country for a four-day visit to Davos, Switzerland to participate in the annual World Economic Forum with other state leaders and top business executives around the world.
According to President Aquino in his departure statement, going to Davos is a great opportunity to show and tell the world about the good things that have been happening in the Philippines.
The President said he’ll be bringing good news from the country when he meets the members of the Filipino community in Zurich.
President Aquino was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Jose Rene Almendras, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Trade and Industry Sec. Gregory Domingo, and Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan on the said trip.
