President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received representatives from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi during his two-day official visit to Vietnam.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr., Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Ambassador Noel Servigon and Special Assistant Christopher Lawrence Go joined the President in the meeting.

The Vietnamese business delegates included Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry vice chairman Doan Duy Khuong, Vinafood 1 general director Bui Thi Thanh Tam, Vinafood 2 general director Huynh The Nang, Vinafood 2 sales office head Tran Dong Kinh, general director of information system, food processing technology Pham Minh Tuan and Viet Thai Company chairman David Thai.

Celebrating 40 years of strong and friendly diplomatic ties with Vietnam this year, President Duterte has expressed hope for both countries to be able to do more business together and further strengthen the existing bilateral cooperation.
