President Benigno S. Aquino III received the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI) Board of Directors who paid a courtesy call at Malacanan Palace. Leading the group is Lt. Gen. Edgardo E. Batenga (Ret.) who is the current Chairman and CEO of the PMAAAI.
The Board of Directors presented their manifesto of support to the administration and requested to personally meet with the President in order to solicit his propositions on how PMAAAI could be more relevant to national causes.
The PMAAAI was established to protect the Philippine Military Academy’s ideals of Courage, Integrity and Loyalty, uphold its traditions of professionalism and excellence, perpetuate the memory of the deeds and sacrifices of its alumni, promote the general welfare of its members, the PMA and the AFP, and contribute to the attainment of national unity, social justice and progress.
Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin was also present in the event.
