President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received several officials and executives from the Philippine construction industry in a courtesy call held at the Grand Hyatt Beijing in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.

The attendees comprised the representatives of the Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB) – Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP); Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF)-CIAP; Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB)-CIAP; Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC)-CIAP; Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific Company (AG&P); Megawide Construction Corporation; Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc.; Philippine Overseas and Domestic Construction Boards (PODCB)-CIAP; Philippine Constructors Association; MC Developers Corporation; and the Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB)-CIAP.

The aforementioned groups traveled to China to create business partnerships with their Chinese counterparts.  During the courtesy call, they exchanged views with President Duterte on the opportunities that shall be laid out in the Philippine construction industry roadmap, as well as other infrastructure and development initiatives.
