President Benigno S. Aquino III received the Ateneo Lady Eagles, the newly crowned women’s volleyball champion of the 76th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), in a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace.

Led by its team captain Alyssa Valdez, the first time champions had the opportunity to meet and have a light moment with the President, who warmly welcomed the team and even gamely allowed a group “selfie”.
