President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. recognized the role of newly appointed and confirmed Ambassadors as representatives of the Philippines in various countries around the world during their courtesy call at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

“It has become very important that we are continuously trying to keep communication lines open and that again the Philippines’ interests are always represented. And that is what we look for in our envoys to do for us,” the President highlighted in his remarks.

He reminded the Philippine Ambassadors to continue the efforts of the government in communicating and promoting the interest of the Philippines, as well as to maximize available resources and opportunities for partnerships with other nations in order to help the Philippine economy and make life better for the Filipino people around the world.

The Filipino envoys included Ambassador Grace Tolentino Cruz-Fabella (Argentine Republic); Ambassador Jaime Victor Badillo Leda (Kingdom of Belgium); Ambassador Joseph Gerard Bacani Angeles (Federative Republic of Brazil); Ambassador Eduardo Martin Ramos Meñez (Czech Republic); Ambassador Gina Alagon Jamoralin (Republic of Indonesia); Ambassador Pedro Ramirez Laylo Jr. (State of Israel); Ambassador Nathaniel Garcia Imperial (Italian Republic); Ambassador Mylene De Joya Garcia-Albano (Japan); Ambassador Wilfredo Cunanan Santos (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan); Ambassador Lilybeth Rodriguez Deapera (United Mexican States); Ambassador Lilibeth Velasco Pono (State of Qatar); Ambassador Medardo Antonio Gonzales Macaraig (Republic of Singapore); and Ambassador Alfonso Ferdinand Agbayani Ver (United Arab Emirates [UAE]).
