President Benigno S. Aquino III received Mr. Muhtar Kent, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Coca-Cola Company, in a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace.

The Coca-Cola Company is one of the world’s leading merchandise and a close partner of the Philippine government. Hand-in-hand with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the company launched the Sari-Sari Store Training and Access to Resource (STAR) Program aimed at empowering women retailers to become successful entrepreneurs.

Together with the President are TESDA Director-General Joel Villanueva and Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Gregory Domingo.
