President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received H.E. Han Dong Man, Ambassador of Korea to the Philippines, in a courtesy call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

Their meeting was in preparation for the upcoming first visit of the President in South Korea from June 3 to 5, 2018.

President Duterte is expected to hold a summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and discuss measures to reinforce their alliance and further improve bilateral ties.

The President was joined in the event by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, DFA-Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs (ASPAC) Assistant Secretary Millicent Cruz-Paredes, DFA-ASPAC Executive Director Josel Ignacio, and DFA-ASPAC Director Bolivar Bao.
