President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. talked with the top executives of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) during a courtesy call at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The meeting centered on several programs and projects that CCCC is looking to undertake in the Philippines after the successful state visit of President Marcos Jr. to the People’s Republic of China, particularly agriculture, infrastructure, transportation, science and technology, pilot testing of juncao industry, sustainable development programs against the effects of climate change and public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

Its completed projects in the Philippines are the Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge (connecting Estrella Street in Makati City to Barangka Drive in Mandaluyong City), Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, Pasay City Harbor City Development Project, New Clark City – Subic Clark-Tarlac Expressway (NCC-SCTEX) and Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX). It has two ongoing projects, namely the Manila North-South Harbor Bridge Project and Samal Island-Davao City Connector Bridge Project.

Cabinet members who joined President Marcos Jr. in the event included Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr., and Department of Agriculture (DA) Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban.
