After meeting with New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully, President Benigno S. Aquino III convened with Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird during a courtesy call in Malacañang.

The Foreign Affairs Minister was joined by Consul and Trade Commissioner Robert McCubbing, Canadian Ambassador to the Philippines Christopher Thornley and Political Counselor James Christoff.
